The Christmas Train
So I'm not sure if you can tell by these pictures, but we were COLD. Braden has NEVER been this cold in his life! For those of you who are not familiar with the Christmas Train .... it is a real train that takes passengers around a track as they hear the story of Christmas. It's out at Dry Gulch, USA (google it!) Our church puts it on, and our church is, well ..... not small! Anyway, it is a really cool experience (pun INTENDED!) I'm sure we could have enjoyed all Dry Gulch had to offer if it wasn't in the single digits! Braden got so cold that he just started screaming and couldn't really tell me what was wrong. He refused to wear gloves so we think he screamed because his fingers hurt and he didn't understand what was going on. I'm pretty sure I've never been that cold before! Anyway, next year I'll get better pictures. My fingers froze after the train ride so I couldn't run my camera! Seriously!
So I'm off to bed now. I have to work early all this week, but Shelly made me feel horrible for not updating my blog so I had to get it done before I went off to bed! I won't blog again untill after Christmas! I can't wait! Oh yeah ..... Santa visited me early! I got some new UGG boots just in time for Christmas Train! (Only because Grammy Clause wanted hers early too!) Hope everyone has a great Christmas!
And I have to add .... our Grandma is here! Somehow she managed to get out of these pictures, but have no fear ..... we'll catch her on Christmas!!!

Yay! Parade!
Turkey Irony
So for those of you who haven't already heard ..... I am a horrible mother! Braden and I woke up at 5 am to go to work the day before Thanksgiving after we'd been there until 7:45 the night before. (We were TIRED to say the least!) I put Braden in the car half asleep with his clothes still on and drove off. Well, I found out when we got to daycare (45 minutes later) that I forgot his shoes!!!!! So after the teacher made me feel like a complete idiot, I left my child at school with someone's shoes that were 2 sizes too big! I'm sure DHS got a phonecall! Anyway, 3 days ago I checked Braden's basket in his classroom and this is what I find .............. Braden is thankful for ....
Right to the heart! OUCH! And I'm pretty sure he did this BEFORE the shoeless day! I'm glad I'm at least mentioned! Sorry, Grammy and Jeeps! You don't rank with the shoes .... or Demi! HA!

A tiny house needs a tiny tree

So today was the final day of our extended weekend. We started gymnastics again this morning ... not sure if I like it as much as our Little Gym in Tulsa, but Braden had a good time. We spent the afternoon putting up our stockings, wreath, and out TINY little Christmas trees. We don't have room in our living room because our TV takes up half the room. Anyway, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving .... I gotta get back to addressing my Christmas cards.
