Needing some prayers!

Ok, so up to this point, I've put my life and all it's intimate details on here for you, my friends to see and enjoy. I'm not sure if it's always a good idea or not. My parents would say not, of course. Predators and such .... anyway, I'm going to keep doing it because apparently this is therapeutic for me on some level! Every time I feel happy, sad, overwhelmed .... I always go to this for some reason. That being said .... Josh and I broke up this weekend. I wanted to put it out there because I really need you all to keep praying for us. I think I put too much emphasis on the future, and forgot to live in the now. It will be hard for me to do this again because I had very much involved Braden in this relationship hoping it would last forever. Now that it hasn't, I worry about the next time. For the first time in my life, I am testing my faith. I am letting go of the hurt, confusion, frustration, and letting God guide me in the right direction. Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to cry! You all know me better than that! Ok, I don't want to ramble on and on ..... just keep us in your prayers. I've never been good at doing anything alone, so thank you everyone for everything! We love you all! I promise to return to my normal blogging soon. 

Alright .... I'm sorry that was a little heavy - here's some fun pictures from Bailey's birthday party in Arkansas this weekend. We are really blessed to have the relationship that we do with Bailey's family. We feel like this is what is best for the 2 of them, so we do our best to keep them involved with each other. For those of you who are confused - Bailey is Braden's half  sister. Enjoy.

I've been on call all weekend, and in a bad FUNK .... which is hard to believe given this view ...Got a little sun burned on Sunday ..... it's been overcast all day today
potty training has taken on a new challenge - Jeeps taught him to pee outside, so now he goes to the back door like a damn dog when he has to pee! Yaaay! I can't wait for the phone call from daycare tomorrow!

Phyllis and Rob renewed their vows and baptised Addison and Brooklyn on Saturday. It was so great to be a part of this because I felt like I was at their wedding!

Josh at work ..... a bit scary right? Ha This was in response to my picture to him of how tired Abby was after playing with us at the Riverwalk all afternoon ... such a dork, but we love him! Anyway, here's some pictures of us at the river today. We played with Lindsay and Max for a bit, took May May and Braden to the park, and then enjoyed dinner at Los Cabos outside with Abby in tow! It was so much fun. 

Anyway, I gotta go celebrate ..... my man just won American Idol! Woooooooooo!

Lilac Festival

So I'm not even sure what the lilac festival is, but it is sort of like Claremore's little hick-town Mayfest! Kara, and the boys, and I all walked down to see what the fuss was about. The boys had fun playing in the blowup jumpee things! Since Josh is working all weekend, Braden and I dog-napped Abby for a couple days! She loves our backyard because Josh has a tiny little excuse for a backyard.

Underwear party!

Braden wore underwear ALL day for the first time, so he got a special treat! We went to MaggieMoo's Icecream and he got to pick anything he wanted. He had the blue cotton candy icecream with marshmellows, of course! Yummmmmmmy!

My mom redid my flower beds this year. These beds use to be occupied by really ugly shrubs that I named Cousin It and Eddie. They were really an eyesore! The hastas and azaleas will be much more pleasant to look at! Thanks, Mom! Sometimes, I take for granted what my Mom and Dad do for us. They do ALL my yard work! Thank God - I wouldn't want to see what this place would look like if I was responsible for it! I just water it ....... and I haven't had to yet!

I know I'm a little blog-happy tonight. This is my third!!! It took me untill today (Thursday) to catch up on my sleep since I've been back to work. It's hard when I can't take my daily nap! Anyway, here's a video from last week's soccer. Braden really loves soccer. I hope I can afford to keep him in it! This is indoor soccer so it's way expensive! Oh well ..... we can play soccer in our backyard, right?! So enjoy this adorable video of him scoring a goal!

A sippy situation

So I think the first thing on my shopping list post-tax return should be a new sink ...... so that THIS won't happen anymore! Yep, the cups just fall right in!
