When ya gotta go, ya gotta go ...

Yep, this is Braden on the side of the highway ... in all his glory! Here's a few shots of my teddy bear clinic at the hospital. I hosted it for the first time this year, and the kids had so much fun that I think I'll do it annually!

Braden and his puppy after Uncle Dre gave him a nose transplant!

We are pretty boring these days ... just getting ready for the winter! Braden tells me what he wants for Christmas every day - and it's usually something different every day! I've been REALLY into the Twilight series lately, so I haven't spent much time online. It's sad really. I'm on the final book (of 4) and I just started 2 weeks ago! I can't wait for New Moon next weekend!!

Halloween

We had so much fun yesterday dressing up. We were Cruella Deville and Rolly from 101 Dalmations. We went out to the Boo HaHa parade one Brookside with Jennifer and Dallas and then went Trick or Treating with our friends the Turners. We were dressed up for almost 11 hours! Whew! We have a huge brown grocery bag busting at the seams with candy ... anyone need any?

Oh yeah ... by the way ...

Lucy was adopted last week before we left for Dallas. It was bitter-sweet. She went to a lady that has all the time in the world for her. They go to the dogpark, take car rides, and even go out for ice cream together. When I know that she is doing all of that when she used to be locked up in my kitchen for 12 hours, I'm reassured I made the right decision!

You know me well enough to know there had to be a trade-off ...

Meet "Skunk" - Braden calls him that because he has a stripe down his back!

Little Wedding Crasher

My friend Kira got married this weekend, and Braden and I saw a great opportunity to take a few days off work and take a little "mini-cation" to Dallas. We stayed with my friend Lauren, and found some other things to do like the Zoo and shopping while we were there. As you can see, Braden was the center of attention on the dance floor! He even started a new dance that the entire crowd soon joined in on! Sorry Kira! He only took the attention off the beautiful bride for a second though! She was stunning! And it seems as though she snagged a pretty great guy too! Lee Elliot - you are one lucky man! Take care of our Kiweey!

The Dallas Zoo on a beautiful 80 degree day!

Happy Feet!

This was only a couple hours before we heard that they had a gorilla escape from this zoo last year and hurt several people. The police had to shoot and kill it in front of a ton of kids! Yikes!

the largest snake I've ever seen!
A smaller snake ...

Roberts Family Fall Festival

So I needed a little pick-me-up, so we decided to have a little fun Sunday night. We made caramel apples, and carved our very first Jack-o-lanterns. I haven't carved one since I was little, and my dad said we put his to shame! Yay! We cheated and had stencils, but I was still impressed with how well they turned out! Braden and I are getting ready for a weekend get-away in Dallas (F-M) and I cannot wait! We are going to stay with my friend Lauren who has tons of fun stuff in mind for her first time with Braden. Stay tuned for more pictures!

Last efforts ...

So Lucy is going back to Lab Rescue ... don't try to talk me out of it! Long story short - I have a lot going on right now, and this is the easiest thing to quit. She will be happier somewhere else. She escapes, and she is going to get killed! We love her, and I know Braden will have a terrible time when she leaves ....
Brrrrr .... we are at Weston's football game!
I didn't get the "wear your fuzzy ball hat" memo apparently ...We made crab legs!
We are going to eat this, Mom?!

I swear this happy boy is sick ...

You wouldn't know it, but my little man has a stomach bug. That didn't keep him from enjoying some Claremore Zebra football last night! This picture was a few days ago, but too funny to not share. He was trying to take his shirt off and got stuck! He cracks me up ...

We had a Discovery Toys party at our house today, and this is my favorite find. It's called Marble works, and after a few hours I finally figured out how to put it together. It's really a lot of fun. Braden was testing it out ... Santa bought it for him of course! I just got home from a housewarming party in Tulsa, and Braden is staying at his Grammy and Jeeps house tonight. I hope he's not up puking like he was last night. I really want to go get him, but they told me not to wake him up. Is that bad that a small part of me hopes they call me to go get him?! I hate that he's sick, but I do like that snuggly sick baby love!
