Drive-through safari

We stopped just outside San Antonio at a drive-through safari, and got to feed all kinds of animals. It was AWESOME! Braden says this was his favorite thing about the trip!

Here's Braden feeding the zebra that bit him moments later! HA
There's a video after the pictures ... He cried and then said, "That was awesome!"

seconds, anyone?

So today was day 2 at Sea World, and my patience was a little less! We watched a couple of our favorite shows again, and made Becky ride the roller coaster! Then it was on to the RiverWalk ...

Braden getting saltwater in his eyes at the dolphins tank (ouch!) He said Lawson did it, and I didn't believe him ... guess I should have surveyed the Kodak evidence! Ha
Today we decided to sit in the second row at the Shamu show ... you only live once right? Well everyone around us was SOAKED except for us! Becky and I decided we've been livin' right! It was WAY better close up! This isn't even a zoomed picture! I didn't get too many shots though because I was terrified to ruin my new camera!

Having some lunch

This is the view from the hotel that Jeeps got us on the river ... it's really nice! We decided to walk down to the Riverwalk for dinner, and then we found out it was a 20 minute walk. It wasn't too bad because it's beautiful outside, and it the view is just unreal. We were virtually alone on our walk too! After dinner, I opted for a cab ride because I'm scared of the dark when I'm alone. Well worth the $5!
Some shots on our walk ...

Braden waiting patiently for dinner ... we only waited for 10 minutes tonight! He's actually waited much better than I have all week!
our table was outside ... perfect spot! Braden even traded me spots so I could people watch! It was called "Ritas" Anything named after their margaritas HAS to be good, right?! It was pretty good!

Braden feeding the dolphins at Sea World

So here's Braden feeding the dolphins today at Sea World ... so cute. You're only suppose to hold it up for about 3 seconds or it's considered teasing, but I don't think he quite got that! HA They were so stinkin' cute! I only wish we'd snuck in our own fish! It was expensive!

Sea World Day 1

So we finally made it to Sea World! And if you haven't noticed yet, I got a new camera! YAY! And I have some to blog in the hotel, so stay tuned for next few days as our fun continues! Becky, Kent, Lawson, and Kylee came with us and they leave after our Sea World day 2 tomorrow to head to Corpus, and Braden and I have a RiverWalk hotel for tomorrow (thanks, Jeeps!) Anyway, we had a blast today at SeaWorld from open to close. The kids got to feed the dolphins, we saw pretty much every show, and Kent and I rode all the big kid rides like 5 times because there weren't any lines there! We rode the log ride, and Braden LOVED it! He was too short for the raft ride, but when Becky was soaked and freezing after the sun went down, I wasn't too jealous!

My favorite picture of the trip so far ...

Shamu show ... the trainers don't get in the water with them anymore ;(

Who's idea was it to sit in the splash zone?!

Vacation Day 1

So we got into San Antonio this afternoon and it's BEAUTIFUL! It's 82 degrees and sunny! We went to the Riverwalk, and I won't lie ... it was nuts. It's St Patty's craziness mixed with some Spring breakers ... and then we couldn't find our car after we looked all over the place to find the dang spot in the first place! Ha But we took the kids to Rainforest Cafe, and they loved it! We waited a good while, but we had drinks to keep us busy! (me and the kids!)
I'm having some wine in a hotel dixie cup right now while Braden's sawing logs! We better rest up for Sea World in the morning! I have nothing to do at night, so I'm sure I'll be blogging all week!

At the Riverwalk ....

I finally got a camera!

So ironically, this post will have no pictures! I got a new camera! YaY! Also, Braden and I are packing up this week to head out for his second vacation. We will be going to Sea World! So stay tuned for some great blogging and you can bet I'll start having some better pictures! I'm so excited about my new camera ... I haven't had one since July!

I do like them, Sam-I-am!

Tuesday was Dr Seuss' birthday, so we did something a little special to celebrate ... we made green eggs and ham! Braden loves to help in the kitchen, and he'll use any excuse to add food coloring to something!
