Soccer Time!

I'm really bad at snapping photos during soccer because I am cracking up most of the time. They are so adorable, and they are really learning fast. Each week, they all listen a little better to Coach Simba, and they are starting to be a little more independent of their parents too! I'll get better ones next week! Oh, I will say ... at the start of each session, we go around the circle and everyone introduces themselves and they have to say what their favorite (whatever Simba chooses) first week was food, then color, animal, and this week ... snack. Braden always baffles the parents when he says ...... carrots, crab, and his snack was cranberries. They always say, "really??" because their kids are saying frenchfries, icecream, candy,  ..... doggie, kitty, fishy, .... crackers, gummy bears, ..... YES he is serious about this stuff! He is so funny and so amazing! He truly marches to his own beat. And as I observe some of the other children, I am reminded how smart my Braden is. I know every parent says that, but his athletic ability and his language is so advanced. We may pay for that ability with his lack of ability to LISTEN at times, but I am really amazed. Braden and Josh

C
oach Simba giving Braden his stamps at the end of practice. This is his favorite part!

Back in action or should I say Mac in action!?

So guess what ..... I love my Mac! Here he is ..... The big screen on top is me charting on a patient! Ha, yep I'm at work! I love my job! It's dark in there because I'm doing an eye surgery that requires us to be in the dark, so they can use little tiny lights to see in the back of the eye. Anyway, I just wanted to introduce you all to my new love! I love, love, love it! I just bought a new pink case for it, so I think it's a she. She needs a name .... "Mac" is just to masculine. Macayla?? I already know a Makayla .... I'll start brainstorming. Anyway, the picture of me and my adorable son is from Easter Sunday at church. He's been pretty darn precious this week. Thank God, because he was a terror last week. Josh went to soccer with us last night, so he behaved much better ..... don't get it, but I'm happy that it's that way. I am so very blessed to have two of the most amazing boys in the universe in my arms. How did I get so lucky? It wasn't from living right! Oh, well .... if being thankful will keep them in my life, they will never go anywhere!

Happy Easter

So here's a sneak peak of Braden's Easter. He really hit the jackpot .... soccer stuff! We didn't want to go outside and hunt Easter eggs because it's been raining all morning! Oh well .... we'll have to get them all tomorrow and hope that our candy isn't ruined inside those egss! I hope you all had a great Easter .... ok, we've gotta head out to church. I just love this computer so much, I can't stop blogging!

Ethan's first birthday

So yesterday was Ethan's very first birthday! He came over early in the morning for a waffle cake that Braden decided needed to be green! Debbie and I made a special cake just for Ethan that we had later that night .... enjoy our pictures!

I've been watching a little too much 'Ace of Cakes' on the Food Network.
Yummmy!!!!
We had to have a bath after all that icing!

Oh yeah .... did I mention that Debbie's pregnant!!!!!!
This is Debbie and I trying to figure out the MacBook picture taker. Ha! I am buying a Mac this week, because my laptop finally kicked the bucket .... I'm blogging on Sharon's Mac right now, and I LOVE IT! Well, I better go round up all these kiddoes for church. Happy Easter everyone! I'll post pictures when I get my brand new computer sometime this week!!!!

Elmo

Ok so the first picture is from last year's Sesame Street Live, but the ones after that are this year at our new BOK center. The kids had a blast of course! We had floor seats this time, so we were pretty dang close. My pictures aren't great because I took them with my phone, but when Phyllis sends me hers, I'll post some better ones!

Braden .... meet dinner!

So Debbie went to .... well, somewhere on the coast this weekend! (Road Island?) Anyway, she brought back a live lobster, and we got to watch it's final moments. Braden was terrified of it at first, but finally worked up enough courage to pet it. We then watched it .... well, die. The dumb thing didn't even try to save itself, so I don't feel sorry for him at all. I didn't get to taste the outcome because they eat so late over there, but I'm sure it was delightful.
